Hey, it’s Roger I have a question for you…
What does an Uber driver in Chicago, a contract nurse tackling the COVID crisis in New York City and an interim CFO for a start up in the Bay Area have in common?
You give up?
They are all participants in the US gig economy.
Today approximately 30% of the US workforce participates in the Gig Economy
And if you can believe it, this percentage is expected to grow to over 50% in the next 5-10 years.
That’s Crazy, right?
And while there is a ton of media and research focused on the labor pool of lighter skillset gig workers like the Uber drivers in Chicago, there is a lack of discussion on the needs and challenges of the labor pool of higher level skilled gig workers like the contract nurse in New York City or that interim CFO in the Bay area.
And that’s what this podcast is all about.
We are going to shine a light on what we call the Professional segment of the broader gig economy and we aim to empower those professional gig workers with the tools and knowledge so they can thrive in their careers as an independent professionals.
The future of work is just over the horizon and the power is shifting to you, the talent.
And my last question is…
Are you ready for it?
So come join us, and let’s find your Next Pro Gig.
